Collection: Board Games && Wargames

Functional home organisation using 3D printing

Here’s a collection of 3D-printed items designed for board games and wargames.

This is a fully foldable chess set. The design is cleverly thought out so that all the pieces can be stored inside the rolled board.

This is a mechanical life counter that can be used for any game requiring one.

I printed these 3 cm-long boats for a pirate RPG campaign we’re currently running. Krayorn painted them. Since the Game Master uses a large water terrain board, we wanted proper miniatures to represent the ships on the table.

Organizing is easier with a 3D printer. In this case, I printed a token case for Warhammer Quest: Darkwater.

This one was requested by a friend so he could have a clearly visible Area of Effect marker for his games. I designed this veeery (not) complex model myself, so there’s no link for this one.

I printed this texture roller so we could create our own terrain for our games. It was printed with my resin printer so there would be no visible print lines. It hasn’t been used yet, but it will be soon.

These crates were painted by Krayorn. Each one costs about €1 to print, which is much cheaper than buying, let’s say totally randomly, Warhammer terrain pieces.

Crates

I modified the print profile settings to make the print cheaper and faster. Instead of using the default “Rectilinear” infill pattern, I used the “Lightning” infill pattern. The box is lighter and not as strong, but it doesn’t need to be.

This commissar was given to a friend who plays Warhammer. I primed it black so he could paint it, but I suspect it might stay in his pile of shame for a while.

You can tell it was resin printed by how smooth and detailed it is.

These bases were resin printed for a friend who plays Warhammer. He did an excellent paint job on them. I’ll try to get a picture next time he comes by.

These are resin-printed barrels and a crate that I printed for wargaming for Krayorn. I believe these have not been painted or used yet.

I could not find all the models I used for these, there are many barrel models available on the internet.
